Sunflower oil versus Groundnut oil
Different of opinions and doubts about consuming either Sunflower oil or Groundnut oil. Both, Sunflower oil and Groundnut oil are preferred for cooking by chefs and homemakers alike due to their ability to enhance the flavor of the food. But which one of them is a healthier choice? Here’s a comparative analysis of the benefits offered by both oils to help you decide, which one you should be using for cooking.
Sunflower oil :
Sunflower oil is high in the essential vitamin E and low in saturated fat. Sunflower oil, refined or unrefined is heart friendly. It lowers cholesterol levels as it contains the right amounts of polyunsaturated and monounsaturated fatty acids.
Groundnut oil :
Saturated fats :
Saturated fat contains triglycerides (the component that affects your cholesterol levels) that could clog your arteries. Saturated oils however, are not your enemies.
